On Monday night next at the Presbyterian Church, Elth-am. Dr. P. Steven, of Stratfo-rd, will give a public lecture entitled ‘‘A Trip Through America and Great Britain.” The proceeds will go to the church funds. At a meeting of the Methodist Pose an ( ] Sweet Pea Show Committee last Thursday- it was decided to hold the show on November 12 and 13 next. Particulars of the issue of holiday excursion tickets to Wellington for Carnival and Show Week are advertised in this issue.
