Parts of the film were very faint, and the producers seemed to have focussed the main portion of their attention on one Taranaki town. The children, however, were attentive, and the athletic side of the picture naturally aroused their enthusiasm. Children at work and at play, inside and outside subjects, technical training, domestic occupants, were all dealt with in rapid succession.
