FLOODS IN CHINA.
MANY LIVES LOST. DAMAGE TO CROPS. BY CABLE- PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received June 26, 12.10 p.m. PEKIN, June 24. Damage estimated at 1,000,000 dollars was caused in the neighbourhood of Foochow by the flooding of the Min river. It is reported that the rice and tea crops will probably be ruined. Foochow was extensively flooded, and many lives have been lost.—Sydney Sun Cables. i
