NO NOVELTY.

BRITISH LABOUR, DEFEATS. THE SIXTH REVERSE. BY CABLE—P&ESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT Received June 26, 10.5 a.m. LONDON, June 25. The novelty attaching to the Government defeats in the Commons is somewhat wearing off. For the sixth time the Ministry received a set-back when an amendment on the Traffic Bill was carrid by 195 votes to 168. The Conservatives and Liberals, combining in the majority for the amendment, pressed the Transport Ministry to adopt a certain arrangement for' submitting the regulation's to Parliament, which the Minister objected would hamper the department’s work. The defeat is regarded as unimportant.— Reuter.
