SOUTH AFRICA v. LEYESONGOWER’S TEAM. Received June 26, 12.10 p.m. LONDON, June 25. The South African team in their first innings against Leveson-Gower’s eleven made 253 (Taylor 81, Blanckenberg 36, Nupen 37). Rhodes took six wickets for 56 runs. Leveson-Gower’s team had lost two wickets for 57 runs when stumps were drawn.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Taylor, in a delightful innings of 123 minutes, hit seven fours.—Reuter.
