JJUBLIC Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 120 and 121 of “The Counties Act;, 1920,” and by Sections 4.8 to 55 of “The Rating Act, 1908,” and amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Hawera County Council, at a special meeting to be held at the County Chambers, Princes Street, Hawera, on SATURDAY, the 28th day of .Tune, 1924, to make and levy General Rates upon the Capital Value of all rateable properties within the respective Ridings of the said County as follows— HAWERA RIDING, lid in the £; ARARAT A RIDING, Ud in the £; MOKOIA RIDING, IJd in the £. Such rates shall be for the period commencing on Ist day of April, 1924, and ending on 31st day of March, 1925, and shall become payable in one sum on the 19th day of July, 1924, at the County Office, Princes Street, Hawera, to the County Clerk and Treasurer. The Rate Boole and Valutaion Rolls are now open for inspection at the County Office during office hours.
