The programme is well selected, including Bach's great Fantasia in G Minor, the slow movement from a Stanford sonata, fantasia on “Yeni Immanuel” (Harris), and “Harmonies du Soir’’ (Karg-Elert). A number of transcriptions will also lie rendered—the finale- from Tsehaikowsky’s “Pathetique” Symphony. Andnntino (Martini), Solemn Arelody (Walfo.rdDavis). the slow movement from Goldmark’s violin concerto, and the Nuptial Procession from Romeo and Juliet (Gounod). Mr J. R. McLennan, new to local audiences, will sing “Arm. arm. ye Brave” (Handel) and “A Sailor's Prayer’’ (Keel). A collection will lie taken.
