HOTEL BURNT.
BOARDERS ESCAPE IN NIGHT ATTIRE. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.’) NAPIER, June 23. The Wesfcshore Hotel, in a suburb of Napier, was burnt to ashes at 3 o’clock this morning. No water supply was available, and nothing was saved. An adjoining cottage and small hut were also totally destroyed. Tiie licensee waF. Rhodes, and the owner E. Austin ('Auckland). The insurance on the building was £‘3ooo in rye Phoenix and ike furniture and stock were insured for £420 in the Standard. The hoarders escaped in their night attire, saving nothing.
