The MacDojjald-Herriot conference revealed a general agreement of the Franco-British viewpoints. It was decided to ask Italy and Belgium to attend an Allied conference in London in July for the purpose of determining the procedure in connection with the Dawes report. Mr MacDonald and M. Herriot agreed to jointly attend the opening of the assembly of the League of Nations at Geneva in September.— Sydney Sun Cables.
