NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY GENERAL RATES FOR 1924-1925. jpUBLIC Notice is hereby given that,. in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 120 and 121 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and by Sections 48 to 55 of “The Rating Act, 1908,” and amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Hawera County Council, at a special meeting to be held at the County Chambers, Princes Street, Hawera, on SATURDAY, the 28th day of June, 1924, to make and levy General Rates upon the Capital Value of Ull rateable properties within the respective Ridings of the said County as follows—

Such rates shall be for the period commencing on Ist day of April, 1924, and ending on 31st day of March, 1925, and shall become payable in one sum on the 19th day of July, 1924, at the County Office, Princes Street, Hawera, to the County Clerk and Treasurer. . JN pursuance of Section 50 of the Rating Act, 1908, public notice is hereby given that the Eltliam County Council intends at a Special Meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, Eltliam, on SATURDAY, July sth, 1924, at 10 a.m. to strike and levy General Rates on the Unimproved Value of all the rateable properties situated within the various Ridings o.f the County of Eltham as follows: — South Riding, lfd in the £.
