NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY GENERAL RATES FOR 1924-1925. jpUBLIC Notice is hereby given that,. in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 120 and 121 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and by Sections 48 to 55 of “The Rating Act, 1908,” and amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Hawera County Council, at a special meeting to be held at the County Chambers, Princes Street, Hawera, on SATURDAY, the 28th day of June, 1924, to make and levy General Rates upon the Capital Value of Ull rateable properties within the respective Ridings of the said County as follows—

HAWERA RIDING, l*d in the £; ARARATA RIDING, l}d in the £j MOKOIA RIDING, lid in the £. Such rates shall be for the period commencing on Ist day of April, 1924, and ending on 31st day of March, 1925, and shall become payable in one sum on the 19th day of July, 1924, at the County Office, Princes Street, Hawera, to the County Clerk and Treasurer. . ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE GENERAL RATES 1924-1925. JN pursuance of Section 50 of the Rating Act, 1908, public notice is hereby given that the Eltliam County Council intends at a Special Meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, Eltliam, on SATURDAY, July sth, 1924, at 10 a.m. to strike and levy General Rates on the Unimproved Value of all the rateable properties situated within the various Ridings o.f the County of Eltham as follows: — South Riding, lfd in the £. Mangatoki Riding, ljj-d in the £. Omona Riding, 6d in the £. Kaponga Riding, Igd in the £. Eltham Riding, 2-Jd in the £. Such rates to be for the period commencing April Ist, 1924, and ending March 31st, 1925. Payment to be made at the County Office, Stanners Street, Eltham, on-4he 23rd day of July, 1924. A DISCOUNT of 5 per cent, will be allowed off all General Rates if paid on or before the 23rd day of August, 1924, provided that all General and Special Rates due upon the property are paid at the same time.
