Victories 1924 Veterans’ Sweeping Success over new Imported Racers of all other makes Indian’s New Zealand Victories in 1924, -with, the exception of Road Trials, have {been registered on machines four and five years old. Managh’s INDIAN, on which he won the AUSTRALIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP, at Auckland in 12 mins. 57 secs., is five years old. It has annexed most of the Classic Events since it arrived in this country; outlasting all other racers. George Lambert’s four-year-old INDIAN has started on Brighton Beach, Christ chuTeh, twentysix times from scratch; establishing 24 FASTEST TIMES. This year for the third time in succession it easily carried off the 20 MILE 1,000 c.e., 20 MILE UNLIMITED and FLYING MILE Beach Championships. Lambert on the same' INDIAN also established a new Australasian Mile Record. The distance was covered in 36 2/5 secs —almost 100 miles an hour. .
