AWATUNA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The adjourned annual meeting of the Awatuna Public Hall Society is to be held on Tuesday next for the purpose of electing, a committee for the ensuing year. The money raised through the recent carnival .and sports is now available to the hall committee for expending in renewing the piano and improving the building. This money, together with the small credit balance of the hall accounts, totals £215. It behoves all who can possibly do so, to attend next Tuesday evening. ’
