V LONDON, June 20. Miy Cochrane, commenting on the exhibition authorities’ decision to prohibit steer roping contests at the stadium, declared that they are not entitled to stop a private competition. He ru-one Fad the right to decide whether it should continue or not. Under the terms of the competition every cowboy would be entitled to claim a first prize if the coriipetition was stopped in thi s way.—Renter.
