COMMITTEE OF ENQUIRY. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, June 17. The committee of enquiry into the question of the sexual feeble-minded and perverts has returned to Wellington. On its way down from Auckland the committee had a short sitting at Hamilton to hear evidence, and it also visited the Waikeria prison farm and the Tokaanu mental hospital, taking the evidence of Dr. Gribbin, superintendent of both institutions, and Dr. MacPherson. On Monday next the committee leaves for New Plymouth, returning to Wellington the following Wednesday. A week after the committee leaves for the South Island, where it expects to remain about a fortnight, taking evidence in various centres. It then returns to Wellington for the final hearings.
