On Saturday morning a meeting of local pig breeders was held in the Egmont A. and P. Association’s office, when it was decided to- form a Taranaki branch of the N.Z. Pig Breeders’ Association with headquarters at Hawera. Mr. C. H. Washer was elected chairman and Mr. M. O. Crighton secretary pro tern, and it was resolved to invite Mr. T. F. Fitzgerald (secretary to the N.Z. Pig Breeders’ Association) to visit Hawera during Winter Show week to go into the whole matter. A committee was set up to canvass for members and report to the next meeting. out in cold wet weather take “Nazol” on sugar. This will keep cohghs and colds away.
