At a conversazione he express-oil a hope that the farmers of the district, who are suffering terribly irom flood damage, would win out. He stated that he was particularly interested in the fishing industry, as that section bred sailors, who. in this island Dominion, were necessary to carry produce Home ami who would he ready to del end the trade against an enemy. Later Viscount Jelliooe referred to the lack of religious teaching given to children, which seemed to have become less since the war. fie hoped'it would he deepened mid intensified in future. 3he children of the Dominion were a sturdy lot and he hoped they would grow up in the same spirit as their forefathers.
