LICENSING COMMITTEE SUED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) ' AUCKLAND, June 13. The Manukau Licensing Committee on Monday refused to grant the renewal of the license of the Hibernian Hotel, Onehunga, to F. C. Bass. Counsel for the licensee then intimated that he would move for a mandamus to have the case removed to the Supreme Court to overrule the committee’s action. MiBass has now taken the preliminary steps towards an action for damages, claiming £2OO from each member of the committee, excepting Mr McKean. S.M., chairman, who was not present, at Monday’s meeting.
