KAPONGA.

ST. MARK’S SOCIALS. The first of a series of socials and dances which, are being organised by the Church Ladies’ Guild, with the object of aiding the St. Mark’s (Kaponga) Sunday School funds, took place on Wednesday evening, there being a air attendance. A well-arranged progiflmnie of dances made the gathering a most enjoyable one, and if the succeeding socials are as delightful they should prove very popular. Mrs Evans at the piano, rendered faultless dancing tune, and the floor was in its usual good condition. Mr S. Death officiated ?? Th ,e socials are to be continued fortnightly throughout the winter months.
