AMATEUR PAPERHANGING. The Wellington manager of a worldwide commercial concern recently indulged in some week-end paperhanging. He freely used his hands in spreading the paste, the alum in which played “old Harry” with his skin. However, he says a good rubbing with “dear old Q-tol” worked wonders, and soon banished the many cracks and chaps next day. 4
