(BY TELEGRAPH—PRWSS ASSOCIATION.^ NAPIER, June 12. At the Supreme Court to-day Charles Bernard Miller, Frederick McKinley, John Rattray Dunlop, and Arthur Swain appeared on a ■charge of entering a harbour board shed and stealing a cask of whisky valued at £lls. A charge of receiving was also preferred. After four and a half hours the jury disagreed. With the exception of Miller, the accused all made written statements admitting certain connections with the affair, hut the statements did not agree one with the other, and contained no admissions as to participating in the actual theft.
