McINTOSH AND FITZSIMMONS IN AUSTRALIA. Hugh D. Mcintosh, the wellknown Australian promoter, has entered upon a number of costly v ntures. Bob Fitzsimmons. with whom he had considerable difficulty in inducing to come out this way will meet all comers. He is already matched to meet Lang at Sydney on Boxing Day. Mcintosh says: "Johnny Summers, the English lightweight champion (under contract with me) will leave England to-mor-row week, and will box all comers, meeting the wonderful Dane, " Battling " Nelson, for the world's lightweight championship. The date of the Summers-Nelson match has not yet been definitely fixed. "Other matches in prospect are Ketchell v Lang for the middleweight chamoionship of the world, winner to fignt Fitzsimmons, and possibly I might succeed in arranging a Tommy Burns-Fitzsimmons contest for the light-heavy-weight championship. "Just now I am endeavoring to secure the appearance in Australia ofJarr.es J. Corbett, and have eveiy hope of success."
