COLLISION AT SEA.

FRENCH LINER SUNK. 100 LIVES LOST. London, November 15. The Messageries Maritimessteamer, La Seyne, foundered in the Rhio Straits, near Singapore, two minutes after colliding with the British India liner On Ja. The Onda rescued and landed 61 persons at Singapore. Many were badly mauled by sharks. Seven of the La Seyne's European and 50 of her Asiatic passengers, together with the captain, 5 officers and 38 of her Asiatic crew were drowned.
