DISTRICT SHIELD. The first of this season's District Shield matches will be played tomorrow. Hastings meeting Napier on the Napier green, and Bluff Hill playing Greenriieadows on the latter's ground. Additional teams are as follows : Napier Club : P. J. Bear, F. Williams, Wrightson, Rev. J. A. Asher ; F- Rice, Laurie, Yates, H. Bull; R. Holt, J. P. Thomson, J. G. Gilberd, J. P. Smith. Emergencies any position, Runciman and Terry. Hastings: Gillespie, Leonard, Holt Beatson ; O'Reilly, Hall, Roach Haszard; Gower Srr.ith, Murley, White. Green meadows : Fox, Simmonds, Ricketts, Crowley; Baaley, Letham, Lucas, Smith; Bristy, Aspinall, Davis, Currie. A drag will leave Ricketts' corner for Green meadows at 1.45 p.m.
