The amount won by any horse in flat races, hurdle races or steeplechases, respectively, shall not render such horse ineligible exceut in the special class of race in which it has won such amount. Nominations for all handicaps close with the secretary at Waipawa, 8 p.m. on Wkdsesdav, 20th October, 1909 Weights will be declared on or about Wednesday, 27th October, 1909. Acceptances for all handicap events and entries for the Maiden Hack Rac* and Scarry Stakes close with the Secretary, at Waipawa, at 8 p.m. on Moxday, Ist November, 1909. Telegraph Office at Waipawa closes at 5 p.m. RULES AND GENERAL CONDITIONS No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes and objections shall be determined by the provisions of Rule 118 of the " Rules of Racing." In all nominations, description, age, pedigree and performances of the horses, name „of the trainer, and colours of the riders must be given. Metropolitan "Rules of Racing" will be strictly adhered to. The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 10lb, and for every additional race a penalty of 71b extra" C. M.
