A motion was carried that Te Aute College, in accordance with their application, be allowed to sever their connection with the Hawke's Bay Rugby Union and join the Waipawa sub-union. Permission granted to the Pirates club (third) to play a match v. Rovers third on Saturday afternoon as a curtain-raiser to the Senior match St. James' (Wellington) v. Pirates. Permission was granted to the Clive club to affiliate with the Hawke's Bay Rugby Union. The Kia Ora club were granted permission to send a team to New Plymouth at Easter. It was decided to recommend the Referees' Appointment Board to forward names, of referees for Saturday matches not later than Tuesday in each week.
