PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington last night.—The preliminary balance sheet for the year ended March 3lst, was laid before the City, Council to-night. It showed receipts £208,489 lys 9a, expenditure £207,015 15s Id, balance £1,474 4s Bd. Of the total revenue rates yielded £139,690. rents £25,465 Town Hall lettings, proceeds and municipal organ recitals, £3384.
