Marble Quarry.

DISCOVERED IN HAWKE'S BAY. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Napier. December 17. It is reported that the valuable discovery of a marble field has been made about ten'miles from Dannevirke. A sample of the marble was brought to Napier and polished, and it gives a surface equal to the finest Italian marble. The discoverers state that the field is of an unlimited extent. The Government will be asked to procure a reliable report.
