HAWKE'S BAY JOCKEY CLUB. The above Club brought its Autumn meeting to a conclusion yesterday afternoon. An unfortunate accident occurred in the last race, by which Erin, Loirei and Millenial came to grief. The horses all escaped injury, bue Harry Price, the rider of Millenial. was badly shaken and sustained an injury to his arm. The following is the concluding result: — Farewell Handicap, 7 furlongs.— Wooclhey I, The Seer 2, Chatterer 3. Silver Lead was scratched. Chatterer got away with the lead and held pride of place until coming round the bend into the straight, and then VVoadhey joined her. When in the line for home Woodhey shot out, and although The Seer threw out a strong challenge and passed Chatterer, he could not reach Woodhey, who won by a length and a half, a length separating the second and third horses. Time 1.31.
