N.S.W. FISHING INDUSTRY.

SCOTCH EMIGRANTS EXPECTED.

Unitcil Pr *ss As*ociation—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.

(Received 8, 10.20 a.m.) Sydney. May 8.

Representatives of 5000 Scottish fishermen are inspecting the New South Wales fisheries. One of the delegates expresses the opinion that he has seen sufficient to convince him there was an unlimited supply of fish on the coast, and millions of tons of fish could be converted into fodder fertilisers, giving employment to 1500 men. A big canning export tiade could also be established. He expected that a large emigration of Scotch fishermen would take place.
