Neilson, a carpenter in the employ of Mr Tom Styles, while working at a plaining n.achine at Messrs Jines and Son this morning, met w;th a serious accident which resulted in his los : ng the second and third fingers of his left hand. A piece of wood he was plaining bucked up. forced the unfortunate man's hand intn the knives, amputating the fingers near the second joint.
