Horsburgh and isis assistant are about to leave for New Guinea, where they will make a collection of fauna in connection with the Royal Z<x>logical Society's exhibi tion of Australasian fauna to be held in June next. Professor S«.th H. Smith, a member of the Council of thf. Zoological Sock-ty, is also proceeding to Australia to secure a collection of fauna. He offers other collections in return.
