HASTINGS II (Juniors) V UNITED IF.

At Cornwall Park on Saturday, the above Junior match was commenced. The visitors went in first and were all out for 59, Wright and Minett getting 16 each. Wilkins took live wickets for 24 runs, and McLeod three for 15. Hastings made 100, the highest scorers being Newth 23, Wilkins not out 17, W. Rainbow 11, Evatt 13, Hobbs 10. In their second essay United lost five wickets for '6l runs, (Wright not out 17). Wilkins bowled well throughout.
