For Gisborne, Auckland and Australian States, due Sydney Nov 15th There will be no outward mail from Auckland by way of San Francisco until 80th November. The Moeraki is to leave Wellington on Friday, !)th inst, making a close connection with the Suez mail at Sydney. The next Inward Mail, via San Francisco, is due at Hastings on Friday, 15 th November KING'S BIETHDAYTath November The following hours will be observed at the Hastings office on Friday, Oth November : Telegraph Branch From 9 a.m. to 10 am., and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange Open as usual Postal Branch The Postal Branch will not be open to the public on Friday, but all Mails usually despatched on that day will close at 8 a.m. A Special Delivery of Letters will be made over the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. on Thursday Bth November.
