Received March 1(5, 11.;>2 p.m March 16 Messini Swaymana has brought into Colonel Leuchar's camp 120 natives, o() of whom were present at the Richmond affray. The remainder are the fathers of the men implicated in the attack. Messini declares that his sons are hiding. All were detained until his sons were brought in. Alarm has been caused in the Vnsinga district in Natal. A native induna. after warning a clergyman of impending danger, lied, fearing arrest, with armed followers, and is hiding in inaccessible kloofs on the Buffalo river. The chief Umbubula. of Koike's Drift, assembled his followers in the vicinity of Rorke's Drift, after arming the majority and collecting the women, children and, stock. The Daily News remarks that the significance of the extension of the disturbance is that it brings the movement almost within the sphere of the Zulus.
