| (rei' Press Association). | Ha uii]ton, March 15 Mr Lang. ex-M.11.R. for Waikato, was tli« recipient of a haudsume framed address and a purse of '*-s'* sovereigns at the Town Hall, Hamilton, this morning. A large gathering of friends ami supporters were present. Mr -7. Fisher (chairman of the Waipa County Council presided, and made the presentation. > Messrs Massey, Hwiep, Ivirkbride, and .Bollard addressed the meeting, bearing testimony to Mr Lang's worth as a member. A hope was freely expressed that he would again contest the seat at the next election. The proceedings were most enthusiastic.
