Fisher (chairman of the Waipa County Council presided, and made the presentation. > Messrs Massey, Hwiep, Ivirkbride, and .Bollard addressed the meeting, bearing testimony to Mr Lang's worth as a member. A hope was freely expressed that he would again contest the seat at the next election. The proceedings were most enthusiastic.
