Late Locals.
Comment by one of the judges at the autumn show : "This dish of Cornish Gilly Flower apples (points ing to one shewn by Mr Mosen) is 1 probably the finest grown apples in New Zealand. The judge al the autumn show laid stress'upon the fact that the grapes were not. sulhciently thinned, one third should have been removed from the bunches shewn. A man named Farrcll was lintd £5 a t the Wanganui Police Court todav, for procuring liquor for a prohibited person. A Duneolin Wire says :—The railway goods sheds at Pomahaka were burnt down. Very lititle grain or produce was lost. The trees from which some of the prize apples al the autumn show were obtained, came from Mr Ooddard's nursery.
