WELLINGLON. October 15. The Scarlatina patients ex Gothic were three children, who, with their mothers, have been removed to the Berhampore fever hospital. The remaining passengers were allowed to leave on leaving their names and addresses. The vessel was fumigated. There is also scarlatina on board H.M.S. Ringarooma. One man wa removed to the hospital, and three cases have since developed on board.

DUNEDIN , October 15. At the presentation of the South African medal to Nurse Monson at Port Chalmers, the Mayor presiding, Mr J. F. M.
