CABLE NEWS.

THE PERTHSHIRE.

(Per Tress Association —Cojiyright) (Eeceived May 11, 9.55 a.m.) Sydney, May 11. The Wanaka has arrived from the Blnfif. She saw no sign of the Perthshire. (P<rr Prest Association.) In'vercargila, May 11. It is suggested here that as there are still no tidings of the Perthshire and no instructions from the owners, that advantage should be taken of the steamer Rima's visit to Preservation Inlet to-morrow to send her 40 or 50 miles up the West Coast to search wreckage, and so settle the quesas to whether or not she struck on that iron-bound coast while making land during the night.
