Ai-ckland, This day

Lady Ranfurly and party arrived at Rotorua last evening by the express train. Some excitement was caused by the front of tbe saloon caa catching fire, probably by a spark from the engine. It was soon extinguished, but a large bole was burnt in the platform, and the panels of the car were scorched. Lady Ranfurly and party were not aware of the danger till tbe fire was extinguished.
