Sensational Trial.
ATTEMPTED HUSBAND MURDER
MADAME RECEIVES FIVE YEARS.

After a sensational trial, lasting three days, Madame Bianchini, wife of Charles Bianchini. a well-known Paris scenic artist, has been sentenced to five years on a charge of attempting to poison her husband. Some months ago, Bianchini became ill. Madame exclusively nursed him; but, despite all the doctor's care, tbe patient gradually became weaker. Suspicions of atrophia* poisoning being aroused, two friends removed Bianchini from his wife's care. He rapidly recovered, "and madame was arrested on suspicion. Several phials of atrophine were found In her room. Upon hearing tbe sentence, she attempted suicide by stabbing herself with a hat-pin.
