Acclimatization.

Wellington, This day. Mr L. F. Ayson, curator of the Acclimatisation Society,'returned by the Aorangi with two million white fish eggs, presented to the Government by Canada and America. He will take them at once to Lake Kanieri hatcheries, and distribute them among the cold Jakes. He also brought 120 Virginian quail, some of which did not stand the voyage, and a few Canadian geese. Lie has arranged to procure a million salmon ova and a consignment of Canadian elk if the Government will pay the expense.
