OBITUARY.
SIR T. UPPINGTON, (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received Dec. 13, 10.40 a.m.) London, Dec. 12. Obituary—Sir Thos. Uppington, exPremier and Attorney-General of the Cape Colony, retat 55. [The deceased gentleman was born in 1811, and was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He took the degree of B.A. in 1865, and M.A. in 1870. He was Attorney-General of Cape Colony from 1878 to 1892, and Premier from 1881 to 1880. He was also Lieutenant-Commanding the Ist Cape Administrative Regiment.
