THE ENGINEERS' BALLOT.
(Per Press Association.— Cnpyriyht.) (Received Dec. 28, 9.55 a.m.) London, Dec. 27. The ballot amongst the members of the Associated Engineer's Society resulted in 150 branches unanimously voting against the proposals -with regard to the freedom of the management of their works, and, excepting two branches, all rejected by large majorities ths proposed compromise for making 51 hours a week's work.
