The cricket mateh was resumed at 11.30 this morning on a splendid wicket. Coberoft and W igley opened the batting for Canterbury, the former playing on the defensive, while V» igley scored. Reese filled the vacancy, and just after play had beeu resumed rain commenced to fall, coming down so heavily that the proceedings had to be stopped till after lunch.
