A Large Funeral.

The funeral of the late Mr George Jones, senr., which took place yesterday, was one of the largest ever seen in the district. Deceased was a pioneer settler, arriving in Wellington by the Arab in 1841—one of the four vessels in New Zealand. He was Hi years of age, and very highly respected.
