(Per Press Association.) Auckland, Dec. 13. The Auckland Naval Artillery broke camp on Saturday after a fortnight's big gun drill at Fort Cautley. The funeral of Mr J. C. Firth took place to-day at Tarama cemetery, Parnell. There was a large and representative assemblage of old colonists. It has been reported to the Dargaville police by a young man that he saw the dead body of a woman in Ivaihu creek. The police searched the creek, but found no body, and no woman is reported missing in the district.
