THE GOLD BASIS.
(Per Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received Dec., 7, 11.48 a.m.) St. Petersburg, Dec. 6. An Imperial ukase has been issued, announcing the completion of the task of placing the currency of Russia on a gold basis. Words are printed on all notes to be cashed in gold, up to fifteen roubles each.
