Court this morning thirteen bookmakers were charged with illegal Mjly-g by laying totaiisator odds Spring Meeting. Up to the lunch adjournment T. Tobias, M. Delah ney, -T. Jones, -J. Newman, T. Gates, E. ] 'rapper, and C. Spencer were convicted and fined each £'lo with costs £1 10s, or 11 days' imprisonment.
