Auckland, This day. The Conciliation Board is hearing evidence in the dispute between the Tailoresses Union and certain employers re the acceptance of the log. It is accepted by some of the employers, but not by others. The charge against Johanna Kiely, 16 years of age, for wilfully setting fire to the house of F. Browning, in which the accused had been servant, was dismissed. Though there was evidence of arson, there was nothing to connect the accused with the crime. Dunedin, This day. In Chambers the judge ordered the Receiver in the Guthrie Companies in liquidation to deal with £20,000 in the Bank of New Zealand, which was authorised by Judge Dennistajn on, September 29th, to be divided the debenture holders.
