Wind between north and west and south-west at a'l places northward of Napier and New Plymouth and southward of Timaru and Queenstown, and between north-east and north and west elsewhere. Barometer very little movement northward of East Cape and Manukau but fall everywhere else. Northerly gales with rain are to be expected at all places from Napier and New Plymouth southward to Timaru and Queenstown, and westerly gales with rain in the south.
